GlobalRose is a wholesale flower supply company. They have a few Christmas flower specials including 200 red and white Carnations for only $96 per box. They also have an assortment of Christmas bouquets, you will note that because Globalrose.com is a flower wholesaler the flowers come in a box without a vase. You have to provide the vase and arrange the flowers yourself. They also have a contest ... more

Globalrose sells many flowers not just roses. They are a wholesale flower store. As such you are already paying wholesale prices for flowers in bulk. For example suppose you want 100 white roses, their wholesale price is only $88.00 for a box. Of course these are not arranged but by buying in bulk you can get more flowers for less money than if buying a ready made arrangement. They do also sell ar... more

You are asking about From You Flowers in the Flora Queen Forum, but yes, From You Flowers does offer custom flower arrangements.  You can select a favorite flower, or color and the flourist will customize an arrangement for you based on your preferences.  Of course the price ranges on these depending on the type of flowers you want and how many. more

The site traffic rank for Teleflora.com is 46,490 Globally and 9,357 in the US. The rank is calculated over a 3-month period. So you can think of it as being calculated over June, July and August. So it is neither daily, nor monthly, nor annually but quarter-annually. more

Yes, FTD does offer flower arrangements and deliveries for large events such as a wedding.  Through their website, a customer can consult with a FTD florist to arrange the colors and number of flowers and bouquets required.  The company generally does not sell bulk flowers but delivery can be arranged with customer service or the flower consultant. more

The effect of sunlight on plants Sunlight indeed has an effect on plants, and depending on the amount of sunlight, the type of flower or plant, can thrive in a number of ways. Some plants do well in full sun and others crave the shade. The theory is; the more light, the more growth. When water evaporates too fast from the plant, what is happening is bleaching of the plant and dehydration. A pla... more

I don't think Proflowers keeps overseas facilities. Their website (http://www.proflowersinternational.com) offers international deliveries the same way FTD, Teleflora or Interflora do. They most likely would contact associated local florists in their network who put together and deliver the order. more

FTD and Teleflora do not actually deliver to other countries. They hook up with other networks to have local florists deliver locally. The floral arrangements are not shipped from the US to anywhere else. They are put together locally. I've sent and received arrangements to/from several countries; it's just too easy (and expensive LOL)! more

I wrote a review on this company some time back. Most people use them when they need flowers for any occasion. This allows them to be more competitive with their pricing. They sometimes have coupons available. They are more experienced than most of the other companies. They have an extensive network. You can read the review on Knoji. more

The best way to clean dust off of your dried floral arrangements is to gentle blow the dust off of them.  Your hair dryer works very well for this.  Take your arrangements outside so you do not blow the dust off in your house.  Set your hair dryer on the lowest speed it has.  Turn it on and start blowing the dust off.  Turn the arrangement so you get all sides.  If th... more

I had this problem as well. I had a cat that almost killed my 12 foot tall philodenderon. I took a large plastic bag (white) decorated it with stickers, paints, and perm pens and then set the plant in it and tied the bag around the base of the plant. Looks nice, keeps moisture in and cat out. If the plant gets knocked over it also prevents any messes. more
